We’re Vending At The Springfield Farmers Market All Season Long!

It’s finally summer so do you know what that means? It’s time for the Springfield Farmers Market! We’re going to be set up in front of our pop-up shop (at Sip & Dipity) during the market all summer long! The Springfield Farmers Market runs June-September from 9 AM-12:30 PM and if you’ve never been, you sure are missing out! You can find all the action in the North Market Place brick alley in downtown Springfield between the Heritage Center and COHatch.

Springfield Farmers Market SNAP Program

Our favorite thing about the Springfield Farmers Market is how diverse it is. Each week you can expect to find 40+ vendors that range from beautiful flowers, to delicious produce and baked goods. Can’t forget the local honey, handmade goods, candles, locally sourced meats, coffee, and everything in between. It’s seriously an amazing time and you’ll be sure to find something for everyone. Before you know it, you’ll have Christmas gifts for the whole family before the end of summer. It’s always better to be prepared anyway. Not only are the products diverse, so are the people who attend it. We love getting to meet new people and learn a little bit about them as they shop our booth. From people celebrating their 50th birthday in style to people visiting friends in Ohio, it’s so interesting to learn about what brings people here.

Another really cool thing about the Springfield Farmers Market is that if you use you receive food assistance, you can use your EBT card, they will double your dollars up to $50 each week plus you’ll receive $25 in produce perks! You won’t find those deals at any grocery store. You’ll just swipe your EBT/Ohio Direction Card at the Springfield Farmers Market booth and you’ll receive market tokens good for the whole summer. You can take those and use those for payment at any food vendor booths. For questions regarding this program, please see their booth during market hours and someone will be glad to assist you! Please note that we are not permitted to take these tokens as we are not a food vendor.

Our new glass can cups have been super popular this year so far!

This is the 17th market season and we’re so thankful to have had the opportunity to sell our handmade goods during it for the last two years! If you visited us last year and you come back this year, you’ll probably notice we’ve changed our set up quite a bit! We’ve added side and back walls to our tent to make give you a more unique and specialized shopping experience. We have also been working on our table layout, trying to find the set up that works the best for everyone and allows plenty of accessibility.

Not only has our tent changed but we’re also working on getting rid of some of our older products that don’t sell as well like our tote bags to make room for new things! This year already we have started to make brand new sun catcher window clings, polymer clay magnets, a couple new sticker designs and a sticker sheet, tons of new polymer clay earrings, and more! We’re so excited to see where these changes take us and to learn so many new things along the way.

For the most up to date look at what we’ll have each week, be sure to follow us on social media. We’ll post about new product launches, sales, where we’ll be, and what you’d an expect to find at each event. We’ll post about any cancellations due to weather and other emergencies there as well.
